Why CGEMX
Trade them like assets. A custodian vault and an exchange in one: every stone verified at source, held insured, and traded without leaving the vault.
From laboratory report to sale, without the stone moving
Verify
Send us the laboratory report first. We check it against the issuing laboratory’s own register before anything is shipped, so you know the stone qualifies.
Deposit
The stone comes to our Bangkok vault, is weighed, measured and matched to its report, photographed, and insured under your name.
List and trade
It goes on Vault Trade or Stock Trade at your price. Buyers buy outright or make a private offer; ownership changes hands while the stone stays put.
Keep or take delivery
Bought stones stay with CGEMX by default, ready to sell again straight away. Take delivery whenever you choose: collect it, or have it sent insured.
The stone doesn’t have to move for the market to work.
Every other trading network in this business is a directory with a reputation attached. None of them hold the stone. That single difference changes what is possible.

Four audiences, one mechanism
Holders, working dealers, active traders and a new kind of retail buyer all want the same thing for different reasons: the ability to wait for the right price, and the exposure to find it.
A market where there was a safe
A stone nobody can see has no market. Listed, every offer received is a real, funded opinion of what it is worth. Listing is not selling.
The patience capital used to buy
Free storage while listed means a stone can wait. Waiting is what wealthy dealers do, and it is why they get better prices.
Movement without moving anything
Every flip today means shipping, insurance and a week in transit. When the stone stays put, thinner spreads become workable.
A hard asset, held like a digital one
For buyers who already trade online and want something physical: a certified stone, verified at source, insured in the vault and sold again from a screen. No promise it will rise; the stone and its report are what you own.
Certification checked at source
GRS, SSEF, Gübelin and AGL reports are cross-checked against the issuing laboratory and matched to the physical stone before listing.
Payment tied to the vault
On Vault Trade, funds are held in escrow until ownership of the vaulted stone has transferred. Sellers are paid on confirmed transfer, not on trust.
Offers stay between the parties
Only the seller sees an offer’s amount. Other buyers see how much interest a stone has, in broad bands — never an individual offer.
What the fee covers
One rate for every account: 3.95% of the sale price, paid by the seller on a completed sale only. Buyers pay the price and nothing else.
While actively listed
No cost for as long as your stone is listed and available. Delisted or dormant beyond 90 days, storage is charged at 0.5% of declared value per year.
In storage and in transit
Every vaulted stone is insured while held and while moving between facilities, up to a value agreed in writing at intake.
Seller only
Charged to the seller, on a completed sale only. Nothing to list, nothing if it does not sell.
On a completed sale
One rate, paid by the seller. No buyer’s fee, no negotiated terms, no volume tiers, no preferential rates for anyone.

If it doesn’t sell, you owe nothing
No commission, no storage, no insurance, no intake fee. Withdraw whenever you like and collect it in Bangkok at no cost. The only charge that can arise is dormant storage, and only if a stone is taken off the market and left beyond 90 days.
Your account balance
Proceeds from a sale credit to your CGEMX balance rather than settling to your bank on every trade, so capital is ready for the next purchase without waiting on a transfer. Withdraw to your bank whenever you choose.
Sale proceeds, net of commission
When your stone sells, the proceeds appear as an available balance immediately rather than several working days later. Commission is deducted as a separate, visible line.
Buy without a transfer
Pay for your next stone straight from the balance. For a dealer trading regularly, this removes the delay that makes cross-border purchases awkward.
Withdraw at any time
There is no lock-in and no notice period. Request a withdrawal and funds go to your registered bank account. Client funds are held separately from CGEMX’s own money.
How offers work
By cleared money
An offer is backed by cleared money in your balance. Nothing is taken or held while it stands.
Paid at once
If the seller accepts, the price is paid from your balance there and then, and the stone is yours.
Three working days
If your balance has fallen short by then, you have three working days to top up. If it does not clear, the stone goes back on sale.
